A new year, a new home

It has been clear for some time, that this website has served its purpose. It was created at a time when a new one was needed, and worked well for a while. More recently news has been posted on Facebook and not made it on here. There are several reasons for this, but primarily, to do a good job of reporting, being somewhere near the project is always helpful.

Your webmaster has never been particularly close, having been located deep in NER territory at York. That situation has now changed (made worse), having moved into NSWGR territory at Lake Macquarie in Australia.

Having discussed the problem with the project team, it has been decided to move the County of Glamorgan webpage into a new home on the Didcot Railway Centre main website. This has now gone live and can be viewed here.

This website will remain online for a month or so but will then be turned off.
