Getting its Big coat on

One of the jobs being completed while the boiler is back at Didcot is manufacturing of the cladding sheets, or cleading to give it its official name which will cover the boiler and its lagging. Recent photos from Didcot show this underway. The backhead sheets include markings of what the various flanges will be fitted with and is a good view of the single gauge glass, which was one of the GWR's individuality features.
